Not a bad phone. It looks smart. But, if you are used to Samsung rather do not buy this coz even the cheaper Samsungs are better than this phone. The thing I dislike most about this phone is how difficult it is just to search things or go to websites on the internet. lesson learned..

Not the best Xiaomi Redmi. After 4 months the phone is lagging, often crashes. I only used a fraction of my space and have done all the necessary to improve it's performance, still no luck. Camera and video is poor, even streaming does not look great. Probably still worth the price

The phone has very respectable specifications - good processor, lots of memory and acceptable camera. Unfortunately the screen brightness is unacceptable - needing to be set at a high level for indoor use and completely inadequate for outdoor use. The sound is also tinny and a little low

The Xiaomi Redmi A5 is shockingly reliable. Only froze once, probably a fluke. Big, gorgeous screen, battery that laughs at a day of use, and a camera that loves the light but fears the dark. Can’t do 4K on VLC, and no headset, but hey, the included cover is a nice little win.

Good product and works as expected

The specs for this phone are impressive but it is let down completely by the use of Android 15 (Go) operating system. Apps used on previous phone (8 years old) not available, features on Google not available, bluetooth settings not adjustable etc.

Bought for my son, the phone is so good with enough space and picture quality I will buy one for myself.
