Worth money for the price and quality of video and more advanced options to support the camera love it and recommend

the camera worked on the 1st day perfectly and after that it glitches and always stay offline looses the connection its not a good product at all waste of money, have done trouble shooting and rebooting its just not worth the time and money

Camera was better than expected. Excellent quality recording for the purpose it is being used for

great price point, does what's it's meant to, add an SD card and get recording of movements. Easy to add multiple cameras to a network as well and keep track of everything in 1 app. Super clear image. audio not that great but image quality and motion detection is great.

The motor that moves the pan/tilt on the c225 is faster. The starlight mode and the far/close option for infrared makes it super clear at night time and the whole thing runs as easy as the rest of the Tapo cameras because it’s all on the one app still. Well worth it.

Pros Easy to Install . If I remember correctly did not support 5G WIFI so something to think of. Cons Depending on your WIFI sometimes the cameras do get intermittently disconnected. Starts blinking.Gets sorted when you restart the camera.

I thought it was wireless, my mistake, now I have a black power lead running down my wall. Works well and lots of features, some need a subscription, but a lot dont. But good enough for this to be my 2nd camera purchased

I have a single C225 feeding detection events to a Raspberry Pi4 via the C225's ONVIF and RSTP feeds (using a python/ffmpeg script I cobbled together). It works well. I bought this model because I can use the button to turn off monitoring when at home and enable it when going out - it's reassuring...

Far exceeds expectations. I have it set to turn on the light and sound an alarm only when it detects a person. It then records this and notifies me. The camera moves to follow a person once they appear in the field of view.

I bought the Tapo brand as I already had the app loaded from other products. The operation and features of the camera are excellent, super easy to set up, clear picture and the motorised pan and tilt work well, as does night and day vision. Good price too - not sure what could really be much better!
