I use this hub to backup video streaming from my outdoor cameras as an extra precautions. It works very well and gives me peace of mind knowing that all that media is safely secure inside the house. Unfortunately it only supports 4 cameras in total, hence only four stars.

This tiny hub has a surprisingly long range. Whereas I need 3 routers to cover the house with Wi-Fi, this device's signal reaches the other side of the house easily. It has a basic speaker which can be used as a doorbell or alarm, and an sd card slot

Had a real struggle to get something to messure temperature. With the Smart Hub and Tapo T315 it made my life very easy. Great technology and easy to install and setup. Wifi range is much better then your normal routers. Notifications are perfect!

it's easy to set up, and helps to bring all your devices together. the smaller model doesn't link sensors and cameras together like this one. This is a vital device to have if you're using the range of Tapo products

Does what it is supposed to do, They should just tell you that you need it to when one buys the camera. It should be included with the purchase of the camera.

Awesome product just keep in mind that it needs to connect via ethernet (wired internet) to be first connected to the app. Depending on connection, it may need to continue being connected via a wire because the connection via wireless internet isn’t amazing.

If wanting to add more devices later much better than the H100. Have got it plugged into router to enable people in house to hear the Tapo doorbell when pressed. Works well. Took a while to work out how to get the chime in this hub to sound when doorbell pressed but now working great.
