I bought my HT-S40R about 2 years ago. I have been seriously using it. It still sounds great. It was money well worth spent!

The sound bar provides movie-like sound in my apartment. What a difference it makes to the sound quality of watching a movie or listening to music on YouTube. I absolutely love it and I am so glad I purchased it. I always loved Sony products because they are of high-quality!

The system has an elegant physical design and it fits well in my room with my 55" TV. The rear speakers are wired to a wireless receiver, which is very practical. The unit was easy to setup. All wires were marked properly and the system works flawlessly.

I love these speakers! The surround sound is amazing and I can hear my television very clearly. It’s great when hooked up to my PlayStation as well. I never know all the sounds you could get from some games.

This sound system is nothing short of excellent. Super sharp quality. Crisp, clear sound all throughout the audio. The bass within the speakers are perfectly tuned. The Dynamics are all just perfectly pitched. The setup was simple as can be with wireless setup and color coded connections.

Very good sounds, upgraded my previous sound system and this new one is superb! Excellent sound, the voices are clear, surround is great, automatically connects to the main subwoofer via Bluetooth. Easy to set up. I used my optical cable in connecting the subwoofer to the tv.

Bought this about 3 weeks ago and finally set it up with rear wireless speakers and its the best surround sound i could have asked for. Quick to switch on. Linked with tv remote automatically for volume control and easy to use and underatand.

Loved the sound so much in my office space, so upgraded my lounge. Seems to be a big mistake as the rear speakers are on the same frequency. Either I am really unlucky or Sony has messed up and used the same frequency for every unit sold.

Brought as a replacement for my Sony 2.1 speakers. The difference in incredible and the surround sound it almost cinema quality. The rear speakers fit with a cable but then are connected via Bluetooth to the front speakers. You can hear the sound from every area of the room
