This Flash Drive is great quality. I much prefer the quality of SanDisk products to other brands. However, the write speed is painfully slow. It only writes at around 30MB/s. It feels like I can download off the internet faster than writing to this flash drive.

Very Disappointed! I bought these becasue they said USB 3.0, so I was expecting higher read and write speeds. Unfortunately, that is not what I got. While the read speeds on this card are really fast over usb 3.0, over 100 MB/s, the write speeds are extremely slow, slower then a lot of my older USB...

Have been wanting one for a while, specifically this model as SanDisk always delivers (already own a 32 gb version of this stick). It is FANTASTIC that I can now back up my ENTIRE work folder onto such a small device, at such fasts speeds (as it is USB 3.0). Glad I got this.

Write performance of this drive is horrible under windows but it’s fine in ubuntu and OS X. Not sure why that is. Windows it’ll cap out around 10-12MB/s but on ubuntu and OS X it’s closer to 60. I have not been able to nail down why that is.
