You just think you can bake without one of these or one like it. You can't.

Like so many other reviewers - I don't know why I waited so long to get one! The time savings alone make it worth every penny! Meringue's whip in half the time of a hand mixer! Dough comes together and kneads in AT LEAST half the time! Frosting comes out smooth and creamy!

It’s a kitchenaid mixer. You’ve wanted one for a while. This one is near the bottom of their lineup, but the mixer itself still seems to be quality. You’ll only have to buy it once. The bowl doesn’t have a handle, so you may have to buy one with a handle if that annoys you.

I bought a kitchen aid stand mixer for my wife 35 years ago. The mixer out lasted her. She passed away 5 years ago. I had to replace the paddle mixer blade and wire whisk once. About 15 years I took it to marvel's to get it serviced. The speeds above 4 stopped working.

Have not had the chance to use it yet but I can't wait.

Have used a KitchenAid mixer for years and now needed one of my own. I have used this several times now and is one of my favorite tools in my kitchen. It's sturdy, only a little noisy, and easily whips up anything you throw at it. I'm looking forward to getting a few attachments in time.

We replaced a 40 years old sunbeam with this mixer, and we love it! It whips egg whites to stiff peaks in about 20 seconds. It is much quieter than our old mixer, heavier so it doesn't "walk" across the countertop, and very easy to use.

I love the locking bowl holder. It holds securely in place with even the heaviest doughs I've used. The mixer is quite heavy which is not a problem since it sits on my counter. I would have a very difficult time if I had to constantly move it from cabinets down low or up high.
