This speaker blows me away, the sound is so full and rich with detail. Even though it is small in size and portable, it will fill your space with sound. The retro styling takes me back to the JBLs I had in high school.

Cons: Very directional. Depending on where you stand it sounds good. Does not have good coverage. Sound quality leave much to be desired. Does not automatically connect to paired Bluetooth device i.e. mobile phone. Needs a 5 or 7 band EQ. Pros. It has plenty of volume. Wish I could say more.

I wish JBL was a little more transparent on which speakers could connect to each other. I was hoping to connect the JBL authentics 300 to a Boombox 2 but they cannot connect to one another. Great speakers though

This speaker was everything I was hoping for, is loud, has nice bass and sound definition. It has a lot of features with the app like the Alexa built in assistant and google assistant, also it haves airplay so other people can put a song without connecting to the Bluetooth is so easy and functional.

Let me just start off with how great this speaker looks and sounds out the box. Super great looks all around with a solid design. It feels well made and built to last. Unplugged it after giving it a full charge and took it outside for some tests.

I had originally bought 2 Amazon echo studio speakers and subwoofer. That was a disaster. They never stayed connected to the WiFi or each other despite being 3 feet from the router. Anyway, I should have just bought the JBL Authentics 500 from the get go, in fact I bought 2 and stereo paired them.

JBL authentic 300 is definitely one of the best sounding speakers I have ever heard it has a beautiful design and it has a very good quality material. The theble and bass buttons have a very nice design on the top of the speakers.

Most annoying is there's no on/off switch so I never know if it's off unless I unplug it every time that I'm done with it. I have to adjust the sound/equalizer for nearly every song. Even at low volume I get distortion from the bass. I don't think I'd buy it again or recommend it.

Unpacked the speaker and was surprised at the size and weight of the unit. With our playing it felt well made and I expected good sound from it. The Bluetooth speaker did not disappoint. It sounds great. The switch for turning on and off the voice activation needs work. It seemed a little cheesy.

I like this jbl speaker. I use it as my main speaker which I use the most during the day. I have two others. One hooked up to my tv and the other for portable use that i take when I'm around the house. The jbl authentics 500 sounds great but the volume needs to be programed differently.
