I really think this is the best bluetooth speaker for the fact you can change the battery one day when it no longer charges. The sound is awesome. The JBL app has a 5 band equalizer. A big improvement over others.

Pros: Battery life, replaceable Battery, impressive sound, pair 2 for stero. Very sturdy.

Cons: Maybe a little pricy.

JBL Sound quality is awesome period. The issue with this speaker is you basically get a unit that is ever so slightly better than the Charge 5 in terms of loadness. No real improvement on bass or sound quality. BUT it costs almost double!

Great output, pairs quickly. Just small enough to be portable with the strap included. Good price.

Overall: Recommended! Great product for taking your music with you with high fidelity quality and great high and low end reproduction. Seems well made with a durable casing and nice attention to detail. Impressed by the design and the versatility with all kinds of music types sounding great. Cheers

I was looking for a new speaker and was going back and forth between JBL and Bose. I have always been a Bose guy but this speaker is so clear, clear, and sharp I most likely will be a long time customer. I love having the carry strap just wish it had a smaller handle too. Still five stars.

I have had my extreme 4 for approximately one month and the sound just amazes me. The speaker has the deep rich signature JBL sound that JBL speakers are known for. The louder the speaker the better it sounds, my football tailgates are so much better with this speaker!
