I’ve had a Bose Lifestyle surround sound system for the past 10+ years and was starting to have issues. I already owned a JBL BAR 5.0 soundbar in my garage and have always been extremely impressed with it. I also own two JBL Charge 3 Bluetooth speakers that I’ve had for years.

I wanted to love this soundbar as I love the JBL brand, but this soundbar is not up to par. In several different shows and movies the sound/dialogue will often times start to sound static-y, and have an almost crackling noise when characters are speaking.

JBL will impress us every day. There's nothing to say about the sound quality. Everything is there. I recommend this product.

Bought to replace an underpowered old soundbar. My room has high ceilings and this fills the space better than I had hoped. Bass is thunderous. Dolby Atmos effects are pretty weak, although my high ceilings could be part of the problem there.

For the first 2 weeks surround sound would just cut off after turning tv off and back on, after the mart coming out 3 times , They finally figured out for JBL surround sound system you have too download JBL one app so everything can update through the app and no more problems it's been a week..

JBL Bar 500, purchased Sept '24. Has exceeded our expectations. Excellent sound for the price. Some surround sound effects. Very loud. Quality is solid. We have bass level set at 2 of 5 and it sounds great. Looks good mounted under our Samsung 75 QLED. Recommend.

We only gave four stars due to only having in for less than a few weeks. The quality has been fantastic and Brandon in electronics gave us a demo ahead of time on how to use it which was super helpful and we caught it on sale. Loving this purchase so far.

Love the tight bass.Most soundbars subwoofers are 6 or 8 inch.This comes with a 10 in with a total of 590 watts so this is where you'll notice the difference.While most underpowered smaller subs struggle with distorted bass this one has much to spare.From videos to movies the system is cristal clear...
