The top notes with their birch leaves' hints of green and the rather standard-synthetic lavender are quite pleasant and on the bright side - as is this composition throughout. The drydown adds a violet that is unusually light and bright - no dark brooding here.

I smelled a Boss 20 years ago and I was astonished. It was a romantic, masculine smell with a sense of fine quality cigarette, like a french saloon smell. I wanted for my husband, but was too pricey.I always dreamed to find it again.This Boss is not what I was looking for. All I can say is "nice".

I've liked a few Boss scents, but this is the first I've liked enough to buy. It's a delicate, very sensual, fresh fragrance. You can wear this day or night and it is not the usual fare, it is masculine and aromatic to the point that it conjures images of formal attire but yet it seems good enough...
