I bought these shoes for a long backpack after reading a great review. I have wide feet and wanted some cushion, a low drop, and a very flexible upper. I was disappointed that the W width felt no wider than a regular width on other shoes Iâve used - Altra, Hoka, Merrill.

Love the light weight, breathable upper, and grippy sole, but the fit is not quite right on me. I am experiencing rubbing under my right ankle bone and hot spots on my first and second toes. In addition, the laces are super short, so there is barely enough length to do my usual heel-lock lacing.

WOW! So I have the 3 and 4. 3's I really love, 4's are just okay. I can beat my feet on the trail all day long in the 5's, most comfortable shoes I own to date.I will buy another pair and stash them. I also really like the top of the shoe, less materials making it breathable and less pressure.

I've been a fan of HOKA trail shoes for a while now; I run in the Challenger and Zinal regularly. But I hadn't tried a Speedgoat until this year's model. It's no wonder this is Running Warehouse's number-one trail shoe! It's lightweight but can go far, and it's super comfortable.

Love these for jogging. My favorite Hokas now. The Vibram sole wears much better than my other Hoka (Bondi & Clifton) outsoles which wear out quickly. Hoka Speedgoats are described as being for trail running but the lugs are great for road running too (like old Sauconys nubby outsoles).

Just got my Speedgoat 5's today! Just a few miles, but I can already tell why the pre-release raves were so positive. Great fit, true to my HOKA size. Excited to put many more miles on these cool shoes. BTW, the blue colorway is the way to go!

WOW- these are AMAZING! I'm an avid runner and have worn the same running shoes for years. I'm always a 9.5 in my Nike Zoom Vomero's and pretty much any other running shoe I've tried (majority of time a 9 street shoe, sometimes a 9.5). In this Hoku I needed the 9.

Loved the 2's. 3's were okay. 4's were clunky and stiff. Loved the Evo's and was sorely disappointed when they were discontinued. The 5's took all my favorite features and put them into one shoe! Great fit. Flexible upper. Cushioned, responsive underfoot.
