I was very disappointed with the Bondi 8's . Everyone said they were so comfortable, yet when I put them on my feet, they ached so badly. I did not understand! I had to return the 8's. I gave Hoka another try with the 9's. They have made a world of difference. These are like walking on clouds.

These are very unstable and not as comfortable as the Bondi 8. The insole and stability is not great, your foot wobbles in them, and makes walking very awkward. They Supposedly have more cushion, but it's a firm cushion.

I have been buying Hoka shoes for my picky feet in the past three years. I have had Achilles issues for many years and born with flatfoots. Walking a long distance is a problem for me until I started wearing Hoka. Bondi 9 is airy, bouncing and effortless. I love them!

I don’t understand the mixed reviews! These are very cushioned and the best for walking my Great Pyrenees pup on steep hills in my neighborhood. I wasn’t expecting 2 hour walks each day but that’s what my girl needs. My feet, knees and back were killing me til I got these shoes.

I have had Bondi 6,7,8 and now 9’s and these are bothering me a bit. They are higher than all the others and I’ve stumbled and tripped a few times more than usual with these, plus I feel like the toe box is a bit smaller than the others. I may go back to the 8’s until they become unavailable.

I’ve been on the hunt for supportive shoes for every day wear. I’ve had them for about 3 weeks now and I must say I enjoy not having sore feet by the end of the day. I have even been wearing them with my flare jeans and you can’t even tell they are runners.

My 6th pair of Hokas and I seriously won’t wear anything else. The Bondi 9 fits like a glove. A little narrower than the Bondi 8 and just an all round super comfortable shoe. Open the box, pop them on and straight off for a run…no problems.

Incredible comfortable under the foot, but a very slim fit and after a month there’s still no give in them. Good fit in length, so a larger size would be too big. These are now relegated to “sometimes” instead of “all the time”
