These are very unstable and not as comfortable as the Bondi 8. The insole and stability is not great, your foot wobbles in them, and makes walking very awkward. They Supposedly have more cushion, but it's a firm cushion.

I have been buying Hoka shoes for my picky feet in the past three years. I have had Achilles issues for many years and born with flatfoots. Walking a long distance is a problem for me until I started wearing Hoka. Bondi 9 is airy, bouncing and effortless. I love them!

I am so happy to see the Bondi 9 fit closer to version 7, which I really enjoyed for easy runs. This update has one of the best Bondi uppers I can recall and remains an easy choice for recovery runs or longer slow efforts.

I don’t understand the mixed reviews! These are very cushioned and the best for walking my Great Pyrenees pup on steep hills in my neighborhood. I wasn’t expecting 2 hour walks each day but that’s what my girl needs. My feet, knees and back were killing me til I got these shoes.

I love the Bondi 9 for my recovery miles and long walks. As I was healing from an injury, this shoe was great for all my easy and recovery runs due to the amount of foam under my feet.

I am a beginner runner… and slow. I’ve run for two years in the Clifton model (several pairs as they wear out after a few months). I found after longer runs (8-13.1 miles) the ball of my foot on fire, multiple blisters and toe nails shredded.
Jumped into the Bondi’s after doing some research.

I didn't like the heavy weight and thickness of this shoe. Even though I didn't experience any irritations, I was just always conscious of the uncomfortable stiff plastic eyestays .

I have had Bondi 6,7,8 and now 9’s and these are bothering me a bit. They are higher than all the others and I’ve stumbled and tripped a few times more than usual with these, plus I feel like the toe box is a bit smaller than the others.
I may go back to the 8’s until they become unavailable.

Hoka Bondi 9 Review
I recently purchased the Hoka Bondi 9 on the recommendation of my physiotherapist to help with persistent foot soreness, and I can confidently say they’ve exceeded my expectations. These shoes are a game-changer for anyone seeking comfort and support.
