HUGE improvement over the 6 and 7. Arahi were my go to until they became super stiff (6's and 7's). The 8's are plush yet supportive. Toe box feels wider, more heal cushion, and more front cushion. Thick tongue helps keep the foot secure and in place. Weight feels light and they roll fast.

I currently own the Bondi 9 and the Clifton 8, and I’ve done a thorough gait analysis in the past. While I consider myself a neutral runner, I’ve found that the extra support provided by the Arahi model comes in handy during longer runs. I am a bigger runner 230 lbs.

The Arahi 8 is my ideal daily trainer. It’s been several years since I’ve worn HOKA; the last shoe I tried was the Arahi 2. I was happily surprised when I opened the box, and the Arahi 8 was not the boxy, clunky-looking shoe I wore long ago.

Bought online at doctor recommendation for tendon problem without ever trying on any HOKA shoes before and they are remarkably comfortable. Plan to purchase a second pair. Only negative is that they make my feet look large.

I spent many hours reading and watching reviews and chose the Arahi. I have wide feet that pronate inward when I walk and run. This shoe gives me the support to keep my ankles straight and the comfort to run longer distances. I’m 6ft 208 lb for reference.

Noticeable improvements over the Arahi 7. Seems to fit better with clearly improved cushioning. Very comfortable and has excellent support for over-pronation.

Got this pair in July 2025, I have PF and this pair is perfect for my feet especially now that I am using custom orthotics. I dont feel any pain and there's a lot of room. I used to get Wide on running shoes before but with this one the regular width is just right.
