My 2-year-old 7X was starting to get a bit shorter battery life. The case and crystal were getting a bit worn. Excuses to buy the Fenix 8 Sapphire 51 mm in orange. Two days later, I ran Run RABBIT Run 100 miles. Everything turned on including Bluetooth and multiband, HR etc.

Decided to go for the fenix 8 after having a venu 2s for years. Was a great decision. Work's amazing for my needs and do multiple sports and exercises. The display is excellent, love all the functions, touch screen works perfectly and I have no complaints.

Coming from an Apple Watch. I wanted something that is more for the athlete and had physical buttons to stop and start workouts. The data fields for workouts are next level. The garmin app is great.

I upgraded from an Enduro 2 because I wanted an AMOLED display and so far I'm loving the Fenix 8. I paired this with the titanium band and it looks amazing. Been on a couple runs and it works like any other Garmin I've owned. I went with the 51mm (as usual for me).

I mainly cycle and have used a Garmin Edge 1040 for biking since the new year. Then I started swimming more and was using a Garmin Swim 2 as well. The Swim 2 was alright, but I just wasn't satisfied with it for all day use, so upgraded to the Fenix 8 a couple weeks ago. I absolutely love it so far.

I can't speak highly enough about this watch. The screen is beautiful, the buttons are super cool, it has endless awesome features. You can tell it is very high quality. Right out of the box I recorded a 3 hour bike road while playing downloaded Spotify music and it didn't skip a beat.
