Hands down the best choice for any high end gaming rig. I upgraded from the 5800x3d (already a great gaming chip) and saw noticeably better frame times and 1% lows. If you have a 4080/4090 or 7900xtx gpu this is the one. Not only is it a beast at pushing frames but it only sips power while gaming.

This processor is amazing. I'm using an RX 7800 XT and my system is 100% GPU bottlenecked all the time. The 7800X3D doesn't even get to 70% usage in any game I've found. There's no need for an overclock if you're okay with less than 200 FPS. I've paired mine with a DeepCool AK620.

I had a 5900x and 3080. 3080 had to be sent off for repair so I upgraded to the Aero 4070 ti. It was great, but it would not hit my target 1440 ultra settings desired fps. I noticed that most newer games like warzone and last of us would only use 70% of gpu.

This is my very first setup (I chose the parts myself and put it together on my own), it's very gratifying to see the result and I'm even a little surprised that it performs so well (I opted for a setup that was balanced in terms of my different needs).

Got this cpu on a ROG STRIX B650E-F. Waited for benches to see how it performed. everything looked great. no issues with install and its a beast. now the new rig only has an outdated 3060 that i gotta upgrade in the near future. 10/10 would recommend as long as it doesnt burn up on me.
