I've been designing for almost 20 years, dating back to my days as editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper. I earned my undergraduate degree in journalism, because I was interested in understanding how to convey information and ideas through visual art.My career began in the trenches of a leading entrepreneurial publishing house, designing books and marketing collateral for entrepreneurs the world over. Starting with the company in 2007 as a junior designer, I ascended to the role of creative director in 2018 before exiting in 2019 to found G Sharp Design, LLC. I helped that company grow with design thinking, and I aim to do the same for my clients. When I'm not busy designing books, you'll find me gigging with one of my two bands, jogging through the streets of Charleston, South Carolina and spending quality time with my wife, Sarah; daughter, Hazel; and cat, June Carter Cat.Johnson, Scott
