Rope bondage has been practiced in Japan since ancient times times and is becoming more popular in the rest of the world. This book sets out to show how you can tie your partner in the way it is taught by a Japanese mistress, Miumi-U.

: - Miumi-U is one of the most creative and dramatic young rope artists emerging from the classical traditions of Japanese shibari. Her training began in Tokyo when she became a member of the Ichinawa-kai where she studied rope intensively under Shishi-waka and Kurage Umitsuki for a year and a half. This required eight hours of instruction and practice each day which drew on the long historical traditions of rope bondage in Japan. Following this, she took advanced classes as a student of Hajime Kinoko for a year.
