Una ley aprobada por el Congreso Nacional de Argentina en 1876 para fomentar la inmigración y colonización de nuevas tierras en el país. La ley concede a los inmigrantes ciertos beneficios económicos y sociales, así como protecciones contra la explotación laboral. También establece un sistema para la adquisición de tierras y la construcción de infraestructuras básicas en las nuevas colonias. Un libro importante para entender la política migratoria y de colonización en Argentina a finales del siglo XIX.
