Had this one for over 5 years that I won at an arcade. Only recently has it had issues, and it’s just that it can no longer keep a worthy charge time. The absolute greatest bluetooth speaker I ever had. Been through water and mud, thrown and beaten around… still sounds perfect clarity and bass wise.

I like jbl. I previously owned the Charge 4. The battery lasted longer on the 4 than the 5. Also you HAVE to use Bluetooth on the Charge 5. I missed the option of using the wired input rather than HAVING to use Bluetooth. The battery lasts longer using the wired input.

My kids got me two of these for Fathers Day this year to use outside around the pool. Downloaded the app and linked to my phones and oh wow does the sound will rock you out! Didn't even have it up mid way on volume and had a neighbor over a half mile away calling me and suggesting to play some...

All things considered, this relatively small speaker sounds great. Get the JBL app to keep the software current. There is also an equalizer on the app. Despite its size, there is a certain 'tightness' to the bass. No it's not equivalent to a large tower speaker, but all things considered, not bad.

I bought this 3 weeks ago. The sound is awesome. However when the main reasons I have a Bluetooth speaker is for being able to take calls on my phone through it. I was able to do that the first two weeks I had it but now nothing in relation to hearing my calls through the speaker.

Meets my expectations. The sound level and quality are just right for my use at home and outside if I need to. Charging like a portable battery is also a good plus if I need to.

Was very surprised by the sound of this little unit. Has good bass and clear sound. I use it pretty often and charge it every 3 days. Even then, it still has good charge. Highly recommend.

Bought this portable JBL charge 5 speaker for on the go - outside gatherings, pool parties and it is absolutely amazing. The speaker packs a power punch, it is loud, clear and has a nice bass. It’s super compact and easy to travel with and best of all, you can charge your phone with the speaker!

Excelente calidad de sonido, fuerte, claro y nítido. Excelente potencia de bajos. Y lo puedo usar varios días antes de tener que cargarlo de nuevo.
