At first spray, this is *almost* reminiscent of Armani Code Satin because they both share a ginger note, however on the dry down this turns very clean, and not gourmand like Armani Code Satin. It is a cross between laundry detergent, and sunscreen to me, which I personally don't like.

A great, well balanced cologne that is appropriate to wear to any occasion, pretty much year-round. Its warm but not sultry, distinctive but not look-at-me. For me it strikes the perfect balance between bold and refined. It just smells amazing! Detractors have said it smells powdery.

This is meant to be a powerful fragrance that lasts all day. Instead i have a subtle fragrance that barely projects or lasts, even on clothes. This is my first ever Armani fragrance and probably my last as it seems quality in batch variations is a factor here as most other reviews are very positive.

Black Code - Armani This is a broad-shouldered Italian with a lot of breast-hair, sweaty armpits, drenched in cigarette-smoke wearing just a black speedo, cheap slippers and a golden Rolex asking you for a date with his mouth full of chocolate and succeeds.

I'd gone without using Armani Code for a couple years while I used up my other colognes. When I was done I finally bought this again and I remember why it's my favorite cologne. The bottle reminds me of a tuxedo, and the scent is a great quality scent.

Smells great, just doesn't last very long, will have to reapply every couple hrs to really enjoy! For the price I would expect better!

wears very well whether at work or play, shopping or evening wear or church. I get compliments from my wife as well as people I come in contact with. I like the subtle fragrance kinda woody yet not over powering, stays on for several hours.

This fragrance is bar-none amazing. It has to be easily one of the most enticing scents available. Gio might be the number one selling fragrance in the U.S., but Code is the sexiest of the Armani house.
