The main objectives of this study are: to establish an architectural sequence for the Ah Canual group of sites; to analyse the typological schemes used, the techniques of construction and the material evidence - lithics, shell, epigraphy, iconography, funerary remains - and to put this into context with other nearby sites, tracing trends and developments over time.
