Descripción

Pronouns are a meaningful part of identifying who we are. We can't know someone's pronouns just by looking at them or knowing their name, so it's important to ask! This book encourages kids AND grownups to get uncomfortable, learn new things, make mistakes, and choose to grow. It's not about always getting it right, but it is about being loving and continuous in our effort.

Core themes in this book:

Belonging, Expression, Identity, Pride

Meet A Kids Co., a new kind of media company with a collection of beautifully designed books that kickstart challenging, empowering, and important conversations for kids and their grownups. Learn more about us at akidsco.com.

Acerca del Autor

Delucco, Rick

Rick DeLucco (he/him) is the Creative Director at A Kids Co. Originally from Southern California, he moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2005 where he lives with his amazing wife, Kelly, and their 2 boys, George and Enzo. Rick honed his design and illustration skills in his spare time until getting his first big break at Dark Horse Comics. Now, his work exemplifies everything he loves to do: designing and illustrating empowering kids' stories.

Wolf, Emma

Emma Wolf (she/her) is an editor at A Kids Co. She was raised in a house full of books and became a voracious reader at an early age. She holds a BA in journalism from the University of Oregon and an MA in book publishing from Portland State University-which is another way of saying she loves words and her home in the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, Emma reads a lot, drinks kombucha, and spends lots of time outside with friends and family, rain or shine.

Wells, Courtney And Lee

Dr. Courtney Wells (they/them) and Lee Wells (she/her) are queer, married Chicagoans committed to justice and inclusivity for their and all kids. Courtney is an award-winning trauma psychologist with a super cool TEDx talk on dismantling the gender binary. Lee is a therapist working with LGBTQ+ kids and families and co-founder of Mind Chicago.
