Rock, Kamryn
Born in California and raised in Georgia, Kamryn Rock dealt with many hardships in her adolescence, eventually spending ten years in active addiction and leaving her homeless and shattered. Grateful for her recovery, Kamryn returned to the center where she'd received treatment, this time to work with them to promote recovery, shape their program to best serve the individuals there, and give hope to those who were where she once stood. To that end, Kamryn worked to become a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) and a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES), which led to her being selected as an ambassador working with the Georgia Council for Recovery to continue to promote recovery, provide hope, and shatter stigma on a statewide level.Kamryn continues to dream big and push herself to grow in every way possible.
