I worked with an outdoor recreation program at a university for over thirty years. Typically, when something goes wrong on an outdoor trip, it turns into a great story!
This is a collection of seventy-three stories that are:
- humorous at times
- contain good location information, as well as
- lessons that can be learned along the way.
Mileages and elevations are included on some trips. God helped us to have many safe trips! College students, graduate and professional students, faculty, staff, and alumni went on our adventure trips. Trip coordinators volunteered, and most trips cost money to cover the expenses, so we just tried to break even. When reading this book, you can feel like you are on a trip! There are three miracles in this book!

Over the course of thirty-plus years, thousands of students, graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni participated in the adventure trips, rented outdoor gear, climbed the rock wall, learned to roll a kayak in the pool, or served on the Outdoor Recreation Staff.
