Ben Ballweg grew up (that's debatable) in the thriving Madison metropolitan area, located in southcentral Sconce. (Wisconsin, for those from the state.) Ben's background collage includes parochial and public education, music, food and bar, military journalism, volunteer and professional ambulance service, and an admittedly shoddy record with women. Last summer, Ben got to his last state, Alaska, but has yet to reach Africa. Ben spent this past winter in Colorado ski bumming while waitering at a yurt on the mountainside. Ben's planning on spending the year after his book tour working where he would have worked had Peace Corps not relieved him of his services. After that, Sconce might be calling.
