Author Kate Kiec (pronounced Kish) lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and daughter. She is an Associate Professor of Spanish at Wake Tech Community College. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Barnard College and an M.A. in Teaching Spanish from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is the owner of The Spanish Corner where she teaches Spanish to children and their families. Kate combines her passion for writing curriculum and teaching Spanish through her work with The Spanish Corner.
