Benavidez Garcia, Yvette
Yvette Benavidez Garcia writes stories based on her life experiences. Her father is a great source of information for most of her stories, as well as her children. In addition to writing, Yvette likes capturing the moment by taking pictures of her family and friends. She also enjoys the challenge of copy-catting her family's favorite restaurant meal and turning it into a healthier version (of course!). When she can sneak away for a moment, Yvette loves to garden, swim, watch movies, travel and practice Yoga (Namaste). Yvette was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, and currently lives in Texas with her husband, Ren, and their two children, Ryan Michael and Morgan Paige. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, an Army brat, and her family is a proud supporter of our military. The family is also parents to their dog Zoey (a.k.a.
