Acerca del Autor
Hulburt, Chris Milk
Chris is a self-taught artist working and living with his family in Richmond, Va. His bright, evocative work draws on familiar geography, flora, and fauna to convey the unsung magic of small moments and unregistered details. He works primarily in paint on wood, but also makes large scale public commissions, textiles, and sculpture. His work has been shown in galleries in New York, Providence, Virginia and North Carolina, but is largely done on commission for private collections. Musical and iconic, his paintings draw on the stylistic traditions of folk and naive art, imbued with tender humor and haunting poignancy.Fulton, Alex
"Composition is a creative studio run by Alex Fulton in Richmond, Va. that specializes in crafting thoughtful print design and illustration. To create her work, she experiments with combined techniques such as drawing, collaging, painting and digital manipulation. This process will often lead her to unexpected and exciting outcomes. She is always looking for ways to combine her many passions - especially food, travel and art - with her work. Alex has lived in Richmond for over a decade, in many different neighborhoods, and currently lives in a charming house in Lakeside with her family and several cats."Cogar, Elizabeth
Elizabeth grew up in Richmond, moved elsewhere and returned to work as a journalist and raise her two children and quite a few dogs. She's worked in the tourism and education fields and written for many publications including Style Weekly, Virginia Living, Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richmond Magazine and RHome. Her creative alter ego is a sewist and screen printer. Having wandered far and wide, she's particularly fond of a good travel guide. When she noticed that a new one had not been written about Richmond lately, she challenged herself to do it, with the help of the three talents to the right and an editorial assistant, her daughter Liza.Garantía & Otros
