Portugal's Revolution also describes life in the country during the fifty-year dictatorship and contains a wealth of factual material covering the period from the 1920s to the 1980s. It will be of interest to all those concerned with the pre- and post-revolutionary development of Portugal, in addition to scholars of Iberian and comparative politics.
