Hernandez Gallardo received his master's degrees from Northeastern Illinois University in Spanish and Latin American literature. He is the author of "Había una vez en el futuro, Los Yakis: Una pasión indestructible, La Condesa (unpublish)" and lives in Glenview, Illinois.
