In 2020, Raven vowed to excavate her poems from reams of shoeboxes imprisoned in dark closets and release them into the light in service to the world. Each poem is a linguistic portrait of a life lived in chapters of trees, abiding in the comfort of dogs and trees, and informed by the spirit of the land and water which has no need for words.
