Author Judith Newton is a dear friend of Assistance Dogs the West (ADW). Her inspiration to write Nito's Tale as a book series was due to her involvement with the ADW board, as well as her personal involvement when she received two of their service dogs over the years.
Judith's love of the ADW mission is personal. She shares the magic that these dogs bring to people in their lives. Her books are recognized as a beautiful educational series for children and their parents.

Blackburn, Sue
Born and raised in Virginia, Sue Blackburn graduated from Richmond Professional Institute with a BFA in art education. She taught school for fourteen years in Virginia, New Mexico, and Guatemala. It was in Santa Fe that she developed her whimsical art form. Her bright, happy portraits of families and friends sold all over the world and became a very successful business. Not to mention a hundred thousand magnets! Judith and Susan had a wonderful time planning Nito's adventure.Newton, Judith M.
Born in New York City, Judith M. Newton spent her career in the field of special education. After retirement, she became a volunteer docent at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. She and her husband lived in Europe and the United States, finally settling in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There, Judith became a docent at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and was on the Board of Assistance Dogs of the West. Thanks to them, she became the proud owner of two service dogs, Chutney followed by Chablis.Garantía & Otros
