Andi Kerner has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Studies, and although she had intended to become a schoolteacher, she became a teacher of a different kind. As co-owner of a dance studio, she taught thousands of children over the years. After an extraordinary run, the studio closed its doors. Andi then obtained her CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential and returned to teaching, but this time in a preschool. At that school, teaching Spanish was part of the weekly lesson plans. She found that teaching basic vocabulary words was not effective because the children were really not retaining them. Having written poems for all of her daughter's milestones growing up, Andi decided to take that ability and put it into music. The songs she created in Spanish were a tremendous hit, and the children learned them very easily. Not only do her students love singing them, but they are also able to apply the Spanish words apart from the songs. The songs in this book cover various subjects: colors of the flag, numbers 1-15, greetings, colors of the rainbow, hello and goodbye, clothing, parts of the face, weather, manners, months of the year, and the four seasons.
