Acerca del Autor
Raul Aldape has taught essay writing since 1996 and has worked as a 4th grade bilingual teacher for 2 school districts in Texas (Pasadena ISD & Galena Park ISD)(1996-2001). Teaching essay writing to bilingual children from various South American countries (Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras, & Guatemala) has spawned the development of the Essay Skeletons and Anchor Technique. Fourth grade students were able to achieve amazing results with the TAAS & TAKS writing tests. Since 2001, Raul has also applied this strategy with GED Programs and achieved great success in allowing adult learners to pass the GED Writing Test. He has implemented this technique with students from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Honduras, Spain, Venezuela, Cuba, Korea, and Switzerland. This essay writing strategy was founded thru application of theories in Bilingual Education (Transitional Model), ESL, and 2nd Language Acquisition.
