Let's Start Talking - Español Básico is the second book in a series of conversational Spanish books published by The Language School. This book is to help people speak Spanish at work, in their local communities, and while traveling in the Spanish speaking world, including Latin America, the United States, and Spain. It is ideal for the student to use it with the help of a professional Spanish teacher in private or group lessons with 2-8 students.Once the student completes this book, he or she will have solid conversational skills for speaking with Spanish speakers and adding detail to their conversations. Furthermore, this course takes a deep dive into the difference between SER and ESTAR, but simplifies this concept in a way that makes it easy to learn for English speakers. You will also learn useful information about the culture of Spanish speakers in order to be able to not only speak Spanish but understand the customs of the various countries and socialize with new friends.Course OverviewWe are preparing for having more detailed conversations at work and in your community, as well as for travel. My life mission is dedicated to helping people unlock their full potential through education, communication, and spiritual growth, which will have a positive impact on our world and strengthen our local communities. I'm a leader with over 5+ years in education management, supervision, and adult education administration. I have 15+ years of experience teaching Spanish and English to adults and children. Since 2011 I have been the director of THE LANGUAGE SCHOOL, a Colorado-based school that teaches adults conversational Spanish and English (ESL) so students can finally speak the new language enabling them to become more competitive in the workforce. Because of this, our students are able to get high-quality jobs and employers can better retain their skilled workers in culturally diverse settings. I started teaching English (ESL) to adults in 2001. In 2005 I started teaching Spanish as well after having acquired a native level proficiency from living in Argentina. After graduating college in 2007, I started The Language School primarily as a Spanish instructor for adults, and it has grown into one of Colorado's best places for adults to learn how to speak a new language, with locations in Denver, Boulder, and Longmont.
