I have used several of these monitors in my place of business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. for going on 12 years. I mean HEAVY, CONSTANT USE in a 1000 cell prison opening and closing doors and gates. They are used to literally operate the prison and they MUST BE RELIABLE.

Pros: Indestructible, precise, accurate, They literally last forever

Cons: None

This is my third monitor that I have received from this place. Very happy and very satisfied with three products. They work perfectly. I will definitely buy here again.

I don't know if the longevity for touchscreen monitors is shorter than your standard monitor, or how these compare to other brands. But I would still recommend them to other people. I get about 3 years or so out of one, but they get used heavily. I keep buying them so they can't be that bad.

Pros: touchscreen functionality works very good

Love the sonic-sound based touching of the monitor. No Coating on the glass but antiglare. Cleans nicely with alcohol. Jason

That said, if you're looking for a touch screen for Linux this isn't a bad choice. I've had no issues with this touch screen since I've installed it. The only one being some calibration issues which are my own lazyness. I'd like to add that maybe the usb connection works fine.

Pros: Works as expected and does the job it needs to. Haven't had any huge problems with it. Works in Linux but...

Cons: ...you have to use the serial connection. If you intend to use USB because you have no serial connectors, make sure to have a Serial/USB adaptor. The USB driver is flaky at best. I couldn't use ELO's drivers as they require an older kernel than I'm using.

First time buying a touch screen online especially for a buisness but I had no choice I felt that every one locally was pretty expensive. So price is good the quality so far is pretty good I use it in a busy restaurant where we punch more than 500 orders a day on it.

If your touchscreen does what it's supposed to the next question is does it last. well over a year and so far so good.

Pros: Heavy duty (as well as heavy). Nice simple tilt feature for easy access to back panel and plastic panels.

Cons: not necessarily a con, nor different from most competitors, but it is on the heavy side.

Using this in a restaurant, an older model last us about 5 years. So far we are pleased with it. If any water gets on the screen, the mouse pointer will jump around, so keep your fingers dry.

Pros: Good monitor. We use 9 in our restaurant, and they are on for 16 hours per day. they last aprox. 4 years.

Cons: pricey, but that's expected with touchscreen monitors. Not a pretty picture necessarily, but good enough for average use

The screen came in and was a perfect replacement for my previous POS screen. I had to calibrate the touch screen after installing it (otherwise five stars), but everything works well.
