Kaya Omodele is the Creator and Editor in Chief of The Abeng and My Conscious Pen blog, an online literary blog and cultural magazie. He was a regular columnist/contributor at the online, Reggae-lifestyle magazine Method Mecca, where he created the popular "Lyricists' Chat" - a breakdown of the storytelling abilities and lyrics of dancehall-reggae artistes. Kaya's writing has also been featured in Dasheen Magazine and his poetry was most recently published in the December 2016 issue of The Guyana Cultural Association of New York, Inc.'s magazine.
