Descripción
Set in the late 1800's, the story of Elizabeth begins in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. Orphaned and unafraid, she hurriedly jumps on a train to flee a desperate situation in hopes of a better life. Now forced to learn the survival tactics of the dangerous and deadly road, Elizabeth is befriended by a neighborly hobo who teaches her the ways of the haggard streets. Together, they embark on an unknown journey westward, requiring her to leave the only life she has ever known behind. In this story, Elizabeth learns the grit of endurance as she encounters new friends and new foes trekking the countryside. Join her on the pilgrimage to new life in the booming town of Harrisburg, Indiana.
